National Nurses Day

National Nurses Day is Monday May 6th, 2024 and Landmark has some exciting news regarding our recent growth! Earlier this year we obtained our nursing license and have begun treating our home infusion patients with our own home health nurses. This is an exciting endeavor that has been in the works for a while and we are proud of our employees' hard work to help get this off the ground. 

Towards the end of 2023, we hired a Director of Nursing and Alternate Director of Nursing to help frame the groundwork to begin our nursing division of our company. In January of 2024, we treated our first home infusion nursing patient and have subsequently treated 50 patients this year in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. As we ramp up our nursing program, we are providing IV home infusion nursing services only to select patients at this time who qualify.  

On this National Nurses Day we want to recognize all of our valuable nurse employees who have worked hard to help grow Landmark and serve our patients with the upmost care. Our nurses help educate patients in the hospital before they are discharged so they can go home feeling confident with their home infusion therapies. They also visit patients in their home regularly to follow up on the patients' home infusions, ensure safety protocols are being met, take patients' labs and more. We couldn't operate the way we do without all of their dedication and expertise. We are thankful for our nurses every day, and especially on National Nurses Day. We look forward to celebrating this day annually for years to come as we continue to grow.
